Reformed Theology

Reformed theology is a Christian theological tradition that emphasizes the authority of the Bible and God's sovereignty. It also emphasizes the importance of covenant theology, which is a framework for understanding the Bible based on God's covenants with people.

As Jonathan Masters puts it, “Reformed theology affirms the five solas with all their implications; recognizes the centrality of the covenant in God’s saving purposes; and is expressed in a historic and public confession of faith.”1 As a church, we affirm that the Bible is the infallible word of God and is the ultimate authority in life which guides all aspects of discipleship. We believe that God is the prime mover in salvation, that it is by grace through faith you have been saved (Eph 2:8). We do not earn our salvation, but God, being rich in mercy, chooses us (Jn 15:16).
